The Greatest Plague: Liberalism

For the last six months, the Wuhan Flu has been all the rage. It has caused panic among many. Undue hardships have affected our citizens because it has been turned into a political issue propagated by the Democrats. Many folks have lost their jobs, businesses, and homes due to the economic hardships placed on us by politicians. Sadly, a great number have died from the disease. As bad as the Wuhan Flu is, it doesn’t hold a candle to the damage that has already happened and will happen from this other disease unless immediate action is taken. So, what is this awful disease? Liberalism! It runs rampant among young adults. 

That’s right, our colleges run rampant with liberalism, and young adults are suffering. The sad part about this horrendous disease is that those that are infected don’t even realize it. It’s not their fault. They have been indoctrinated and infected when the seeds of liberalism are planted in K-12 classrooms. This planting is allowed as a result of their parents not monitoring what was being taught. Later, when in college, these seeds are fertilized and cultivated. Liberalism is much like shingles in that the seeds are planted when very young and don’t manifest until later. In the case of liberalism, it manifests in the late teens/early 20s. Just take a look at this sad example: 

This video is an example of a young, college-aged couple, who have no grasp on reality. The woman says it’s okay to destroy other peoples’ property and ruin innocent people’s lives if you feel like you have been wronged. This mentality has never been right; however, that’s the liberal way of thinking. It’s a disease. If left untreated, it will destroy the USA just as it has many other countries worldwide. 

Sadly, liberalism not only has infected our young people at school, but it has also slowly crept its way into our churches. Christianity is under assault from within. It is disguised in many forms, such as Social Justice, Critical Thinking, Intersectionality, the Ethics & Religious Liberty Commission of the Southern Baptist Convention. None of these things has anything to do with The Great Commission given to us by Jesus.

[19] Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, [20] teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you. I have heard “Christians” support abortion, homosexuality, polyamory, and more disgusting things that no real Christian should support. There is even a website that I recently discovered (http://www.thechristianleft.org/) where “Christians” promote their liberal nonsense. We are most certainly living in the last days. 

2 Timothy 3:2-7 CSB

For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, proud, demeaning, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, [3] unloving, irreconcilable, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, without love for what is good, [4] traitors, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, [5] holding to the form of godliness but denying its power. Avoid these people. [6] For among them are those who worm their way into households and deceive gullible women overwhelmed by sins and led astray by a variety of passions, [7] always learning and never able to come to a knowledge of the truth.

These are troubling times. Our children are under attack from the classroom, and Christians are under attack from the pulpit. So, be careful out there. Please don’t believe anything I or anyone else says. Study the Bible and pray that God will give you the wisdom to navigate this world. And, always remember:

Be Awake!…Not Woke

It’s time for the average, decent, noble, patriots of the USA to awake! For decades we have been taught to call the police for every minutia instead of exercising some personal responsibility. I know this because I spent more than 25 years as a police officer. I served in every capacity, from patrolman to chief. Somewhere along the line, people stopped talking to others about issues and, instead, call the police to handle trivial matters when all that was needed was a simple conversation. That time has ended in many places and is ending in many others.

Another problem is that citizens have lost their inalienable right to have a firearm to defend themselves in many areas. They have had to depend on the police for safety and security. With the current social climate and the Democrat politicians defunding and dismantling the police, that may no longer be an option. This should be a lesson to the rest of us who are not in that situation that we must unite and stand firm.

The theme song for the show “Cops” said, “Whatcha gonna do when they come for you?” Now, the cops aren’t coming for you. The BLM and Antifa thugs are. This week in Washington, D.C., these thugs went into a restaurant where people were eating peacefully. They were yelling and threatening everyone to raise their fist in support of Black Lives Matter. They accosted anyone who refused. There have been three months of rioting, vandalism, and violence in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Portland, Seattle, Minneapolis, Chicago, New York, and now Kenosha. It is only going to get worse between now and the election in November. I remember seeing videos of the New Black Panther Party harassing and intimidating voters in the last couple of elections. There’s no doubt that they, along with these other thugs, will do it again.

However, there is some hope. Where the BLM and Antifa have gone into the suburbs, there has been some pushback. When they have been confronted head-on by armed, organized citizens, they have fled. It wasn’t the police that caused them to run away, but the citizens. I suspect as these thugs attempt to move out of their Democrat-controlled safety zones and into the real America, these “woke” forces of Antifa and Black Lives Matter — mostly overindulged, pampered, under parented, overeducated, and spoiled children — are on the verge of a rude awakening.

The question is, “Whatcha gonna do when they come for you?” Will you stand with your neighbors, the hard-working, decent, peaceful, law-abiding people around you? Or, will you be hiding in the closet with your fist raised in submission just in case they break in and see you? I know where I will be standing.
